These terms cover two things: using solvesinn.com, and engaging Solves Inn to build software. Where a signed project agreement says something different, that agreement wins.

1. Acceptance of these terms

By using solvesinn.com you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site. These terms cover the website itself; the specific work we do for a client is governed by the signed proposal or contract for that engagement, which takes precedence wherever the two differ.

2. Use of the website

You may read, share and link to anything on this site. You may not:

  • copy our content and present it as your own;
  • attempt to break into, overload, or probe the site for vulnerabilities;
  • scrape it at a volume that degrades service for anyone else;
  • use it to send unlawful, deceptive or abusive material through our forms.

3. Enquiries and quotes

Sending an enquiry does not create a contract. Anything we discuss before a signed agreement — timelines, indicative pricing, suggested architecture — is an estimate given in good faith and may change once the scope is properly understood. Work begins when both sides have agreed a written scope.

4. Scope and changes

Each engagement defines its deliverables, milestones and timeline in writing. Work outside that scope is handled as a change request, re-estimated and agreed before it starts. We work in two-week sprints, so changes of direction are normal and expected — they are simply recorded rather than absorbed silently.

5. Fees and payment

Fees, the engagement model (fixed price, time and materials, or a dedicated team retainer) and the invoicing schedule are set out in the agreement for that project. Invoices are due within the period stated on them. We may pause work on materially overdue accounts after giving notice.

6. Intellectual property

On full payment, ownership of the deliverables we build specifically for you transfers to you. That includes the source code, designs and documentation produced for your project.

Two things stay ours: our pre-existing tools, libraries and internal frameworks, which you receive a perpetual licence to use as part of your deliverable; and third-party open-source components, which remain under their own licences.

7. Confidentiality

We treat what you share with us as confidential and will not disclose it without your permission. Unless you tell us otherwise we will also not name you publicly as a client — this is why the projects in our portfolio are described rather than named.

8. Warranty and support

We warrant that the work will be performed with reasonable skill and care, and we fix defects reported during the support window stated in your agreement at no extra cost. That warranty does not cover problems caused by changes made by others after handover, by third-party services we do not control, or by use outside what was agreed.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any engagement is limited to the fees you paid us for that engagement, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost profits or lost data. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

10. Ending an engagement

Either side may end an engagement with the notice period stated in the agreement. You pay for work completed up to that point, and we hand over everything produced so far, in a usable state, along with the credentials and documentation needed to continue without us.

11. Third-party services

Projects often rely on third-party platforms — cloud providers, model APIs, payment processors and similar. Those are used under their own terms and pricing, which you accept separately, and we cannot be responsible for their availability, changes or charges.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, and the courts of Karachi have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them. We would always rather resolve a disagreement by talking first.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms; the current version always lives on this page with the date it was last changed. Terms in a signed engagement agreement are not altered by changes made here.
